Rattlesnakes Don’t Commit Suicide

In Quotes on August 27, 2013 at 12:38 am

March on Washington | Wikipedia

“We thought that you could just shame America,”

“Say, ‘Now, America, look at your promises. Look at how you treated your poor Negro citizens. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.’ But you know…you can’t shame segregation. Rattlesnakes don’t commit suicide. Ball teams don’t strike themselves out. You gotta put ‘em out.

Corporatism

In Economics, No Time For Slaves, Quotes, Religion, Politics and War, Wealth For All on August 26, 2013 at 8:02 pm
Corporatism is Fascism - Mussolini

Corporatism is Fascism – Mussolini

Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of State and Corporate power.

– Benito Mussolini

Support locally owned and operated businesses. Withdraw your support from Wall St. and it’s corporations.

Withdraw your support from the two-party dictatorship.

Trade and exchange with people you can reach out and touch.

Human Trafficking in the United States Today

In Human Rights, No Time For Slaves, Quotes, Scientology on September 3, 2012 at 2:21 am

Human Trafficking in the Unites States Today from Mike Bennitt on Vimeo.

The price of Freedom is Eternal Vigilance. – Thomas Jefferson

There are more slaves in the world today than there were in 1863 when Lincoln made his Emancipation Proclamation. Yet, the U.S. Senate is not debating how to solve the problem. The U.S. House of Representatives have not convened any committees to hold hearings and conduct their own investigation. Our President will not order his Attorney General to investigate and bring any guilty parties to justice.

Fortunately, there are several non-governmental organizations doing something about it.

The Polaris Project has done a fine job of increasing awareness about human trafficking and they operate a National phone hotline that victims can call for help, or concerned citizens can call to get information or help with a potential case.

Another excellent organization is California Against Slavery. They have been helping to spearhead the passage of Proposition 35, which if passed will increase the penalties for human trafficking and slavery in California.

If you see something that doesn’t look right, take action. Each of those individuals who are being trafficked have parents, friends, people who love them. Each of us has some responsibility for each other and Mankind as a whole. Some day your child or loved one may be in a situation where another brave individual will make a difference in their life.

I personally have witnessed these warning signs on multiple occasions during my life. At times I acted; one time I did not act fast enough.

Lack of Control

Scientology Sea Organization member are required to relinquish their passports to their Sea Org masters.

  1. Why are Scientology Sea Organization members required to relinquish their passports to the Sea Organization?
  2. What happens to someone in the Sea Org who refuses to relinquish their passport?

In the United States its pretty easy for an IRS approved, Government sanctioned religion to hide behind that religious shield and claim infringement of their First Ammendment rights. Does Freedom of Religion mean freedom to violate the Human Rights of another and engage in human trafficking?

Not in my book.

A philosophy that was founded with a declared purpose of increasing the Self-Determinism of the individual has spawned a priesthood that “dauntlessly and defiantly” hails itself as a defender of human rights while simultaneously demanding the forfeiture of Self-Determinism on an incremental basis of it’s members. After three years of institutional Thought Reform, these members are reduced to blind obedience.

Now I’m gonna do something about it.

I have sworn on the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. – Jefferson

UPDATE:

The Polaris Project hotline is 1-888-3737-888. You can call for help or info 24/7.

The hotline recently responded to its 60,000th call.

“That’s 60,000 calls in under 5 years, and 10,000 calls in the past 180 days. Our hotline, 1-888-373-7888, connects survivors of human trafficking and their allies with more than 3,000 service providers around the nation.”

Look For Yourself: Believe Nothing

In Quotes on June 29, 2012 at 8:50 pm

If I ever decide to build my own version of the Georgia Guidestones, I’m going to etch these words into stone in 50 different languages:

Believe Nothing | Buddha

“Believe nothing,

no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” – Buddha

The Big Lie

In Quotes, Religion, Politics and War, Wealth For All on September 15, 2011 at 10:20 pm

I do not sanction or support the National Socialist German Worker’s (Nazi) Party or the Nazi philosophy. However, I do find some value in knowing and understanding the philosophy. One must have knowledge of something before one can be responsible for it or have the ability to control it.

An idea doesn’t die, though sometimes it is acted upon and implemented.

The idea I want to share was written by Adolf Hitler in 1925. You can see that this idea is alive today:

Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf

Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf

“All this was inspired by the principle–which is quite true within itself–that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.”
—Adolf Hitler , Mein Kampf, vol. I, ch. X

Nazi Pride

Nazi Pride

PLEASE, my friend, LOOK DON’T LISTEN. Lies are used to make minds controllable. I have fallen prey to this in my own life, to my personal detriment. But far more important to me is the fact that I furthered those lies and led loved ones and others’ minds to be made malleable, thus leading to their being controlled and manipulated. I am not proud of this but the Truth must be told.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

This You May Not Read

In No Time For Slaves, Quotes, Wealth For All on August 27, 2011 at 12:30 am

“When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, “This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything — you can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him.”

Robert A. Heinlein
If This Goes On (1940)

Heinlein is one of my very favorite authors. The fiction is brilliant and his wisdom is brilliant. Check him out.
