Is Scientology Afraid of HBO Going Clear?

 

Scientology Inc. is in nuclear panic mode over this HBO documentary by Alex Gibney that premiered Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival and will be shown on HBO March 16.

Their reaction has been to run full page ads in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and USA Today.

but I want to quickly comment on this USA Today ad that ran five days ago right now.

First: 24 Million?

If this was true, don’t you think the mainstream media would have noticed and reported on it?

They’re all links to Scientology owned websites!

In our world of 24 hour cable news channels, none of them bothered to report on Scientology’s “Largest independent relief force on Earth”?

Does that make any sense to you?

Second:

200,000 Scientology Volunteer Ministers?

There aren’t 200,000 Scientologists in the world.  There aren’t even 100,000 Scientologists on the entire planet!  I’ve reported on the actual number of Scientologists before in this video report:

 

And finally:

The American Red Cross is probably the largest relief force on Earth.  Take a look at their Twitter page – 1.9 million followers.  The Official Scientology Volunteer Minister Twitter page has 2,000 followers.

 

 

There is also a tremendous disparity in the number of likes on their Official Facebook pages too.

Don’t believe ANYTHING you hear or read from a Scientologist, or Scientology Inc.

Last Sunday afternoon Mike Rinder and I decided to watch Scientology Supreme Leader for life David Miscavige preside over the ribbon cutting of his 20 year project from overhead in a helicopter.

Scientology claims 10 million members.

They claim over 4 million new people a year.

Sea Organization propaganda claims this is the biggest event in the eternity of the universe.

Knowing that Sea Organization members are pathological liars, and in particular have lied about the number of Scientologists for decades, we decided to document how many people actually show up.

Have a look for yourself. There are several watchers analyzing these photos to determine the number of attendees in the photos, but you can also have a look at my photo set for yourself and decide.

1. To expose the modern day slavery, mind control, and other abuses of the Sea Organization and their Supreme Leader for life David Miscavige.

State of Mind Movie Review

Last month (July 2013) Free Mind Films released their latest documentary titled State of Mind.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to view it

These filmmakers have done a brilliant job distilling an incredible amount of data down into 110 minutes. Their facts come from many sources, and the filmmakers cite their sources so you can easily check the source material yourself..

And they were able to interview many of the recognized experts on Mind Control.

Its amazing to learn just how much time and resources the governments of Earth have spent on research and development of mind control technologies. Would a government by the people and for the people spend a fortune of the peoples' money over a period of decades researching and developing mind control technology? For what purpose? How does that benefit the people?

Another thing that really shocked me is to learn the true history of our "education system". If you look at it, government run schools are merely training students, not educating them. Could this be why home schooling is so looked down upon? Why is government schooling compulsory?

Then there is TV – optimized to put an individual into a light hypnosis, thereby becoming highly suggestible. Add the Big Pharma drug culture into the mix and one is being hit from all directions.

Watch the movie – I give it 5 stars. I've bought a box of DVD's that I'm handing out to my friends, and I haven't done anything like this in years.

Today Marty Rathbun published one of his finest posts to date titled Scientology and Psychiatry.

This post is basically a Knowledge Report about how some individuals who have attained Scientology’s highest levels of spiritual enlightenment teamed up to tear apart Lori Hodgson’s family and then assist Sea Organization recruiters in luring her underage son and daughter into Sea Organization slavery, by coercing these minors into signing contracts pledging their next billion years to servitude in the cult.

This tragedy is not an isolated incident.

I’m not going to give away everything in Marty’s post, you should read it for yourself. But when the dust settles, it’s not going to be the evil psychiatrists who destroy Scientology – it’s Hubbard’s own Policies of Disconnection and Fair Game, and his creation, the Sea Organization, that will destroy Scientology.

Because this IS Standard Operating Procedure for Scientology Inc.

They want all of your money.

They want your children.

They want anyone they can put to work or use in other ways.

And they will stop at nothing to get them.

Moreover, the Sea Organization is nothing more than a Human Trafficking and extortion operation that needs to be put down permanently.

And yes, I have my own experiences with this brutal practice, as do so many others.

On February 9, 2012 a pretrial hearing was held in San Antonio, Texas in the case of Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization vs Debbie Cook. I traveled to San Antonio to observe for myself first hand what was going to happen, as I had personally known Debbie for many years to be the Chief Executive of Scientology’s “Mecca of technical perfection” in Clearwater, FL and was one of the recipients of her New Year’s Eve e-mail that prompted this lawsuit by her former employer, a religious organization I had been a part of for over 15 years.

My plan was to arrive at the courthouse very early so I could observe everything, including who was coming and going. I arrived at 7AM.

After the hearing was assigned to a judge, we all quickly moved to her courtroom. There were many members of the media there, and the courtroom was almost full. Judge Tanner decided to allow one video camera for the media pool, but on the second day she allowed all of them.

The only witness called to give testimony on the first day was Debbie, and she spent hours revealing details of her career in the Sea Organization, including the time she was incarcerated against her will at the International Management facility near Hemet, CA and at the facility she had once presided over in Clearwater, FL. The courtroom was shocked and outraged at what she reported under oath, to say the least.

Debbie was questioned extensively by her attorney Ray Jeffrey about David Miscavige. When Mr. Jeffrey told Debbie during his cross examination that he was going to ask her about “The Hole”, I felt a sense of shock and reached for my camera to get what video I could of what she was about to say.

Debbie’s testimony lasted all of Thursday and on Friday morning before Mr. Jeffrey could resume cross examination the Scientology attorneys informed Judge Tanner that they were withdrawing their motion which effectively ended the hearing.

Ultimately, the lawsuit was settled before the trial began.

Debbie’s website is gone, and I recently saw a photo blog that her husband Wayne began posting to. It appears that Debbie and Wayne are relocating to the Caribbean.

The reason I waited this long to write this post is because I intended to travel back to San Antonio and stay for the duration of the trial, so that I could observe the entire thing first hand. I needed to see and hear all of this for myself. I needed to confront what was actually going on in Scientology and the Sea Organization. I was willing to live with the fairy tale for too long, and because I was not willing to look for myself I contributed to something that was not saving Mankind, but harmful to many people of good will.

Stockholm Syndrome and Other Definitions of Words

From time to time during my life I’ve observed various phenomena in the people around me that I did not understand, leaving me in confusion. To resolve these confusions I grasped for any answer without proper evaluation, often times even inventing answers to explain their behavior so that I could live with the contradictions to what I considered logical thought.

Studying these definitions has helped me to understand all of this.

Learning the meaning of these words has also helped me to understand my own behavior and points of view regarding certain situations and events from my life when I have not made the wisest decisions, to put it kindly.

Understanding Mind Control

As part of my ongoing lifelong personal quest to fully understand the Mind, I’ve just finished reading Combating Cult Mind Control by Steve Hassan.

Steve’s book is well documented and written from the point of view of a person who has been consumed by the grip of and escaped a destructive mind control operation.

Several Governments and many more Non-Governmental Organizations have been researching, developing and testing mind control technologies for decades.  For one to not be the effect of mind control operations, one must understand the four components of mind control:

1. Behavior Control
2. Thought Control
3. Emotional Control
4. Information Control

Now I am beginning Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism: A Study of ‘brainwashing’ in China by Robert Jay Lifton .  This book was originally published in 1961 and was the first book published on the effects of Chinese mind control techniques applied to U.S. Korean War POWs.  This book is referenced in Steve’s book and the fourth video is an interview of Robert Jay Lifton by Steve Hassan.
